Hi, my name is Amrita and I would like to welcome you to my company GLOW Beauty.
I began my career working as a Skin Care Consultant at Clinique. This was a pivotal point in my life where I realized that I had a deep-rooted passion for helping individuals feel beautiful in their skin by educating them on skin care and products. I also took this opportunity to learn about skincare and understand different skin types, skin conditions & ingredients that go into our skin & beauty products.
As I started to learn and share more with my clients, I was able to build an honest and trustful relationship with them. I had a dedicated clientele who would come to see me for what they should use for their skin. I was proud of that and continued to learn more so I could consistently provide them with the best service.
At that point, I decided it was time to embark my dream of being of a makeup artist and combine my love for skin with makeup artistry. I worked at MAC Cosmetics for four years while I was completing my undergraduate degree in Sociology and loved every minute of it. This is when I refined my toolkit- I learned how to perfectly match foundation shades, how to pick the right texture of products and how to create a polished makeup look while subtly transforming and enhancing every face.
Soon, I had my own clientele who loved my work and my “style”. I didn’t even know I had a style of makeup until people were booking me for it! That is how the name “GLOW BEAUTY” came about. My clients would ask me to give them “the glowy look” or “glow them up”. The name stuck and I ran with it!
I started my makeup business to provide my clients with an unparalleled experience and service that showcases skill, talent & attention to detail. Our looks are FEMININE, BOLD & CONTEMPORARY and they are created with our clients for our clients.
My personal makeup style is influenced by Kevyn Aucoin and Patrick Ta. I had the opportunity of a lifetime to learn from Patrick. He is the master of perfectly sculpted & blended makeup looks - I was able to gain insight and technique on how to create makeup styles that are picture perfect yet flawless in real life.
